Donations for plant and produce stall

 

Can you help us fill our stall with a tempting selection of plants, produce and related items? We would love donations of garden plants, house plants, gardening books, garden tools, home-grown fruit and vegetables, preserves, chutneys, fruit liqueurs, cut flowers etc. Please think what you might be able to donate and we will arrange points for drop-off shortly before the festival.

 

Have you a plant that needs dividing? Or one that has sprung up in an inconvenient spot? If so, there are two ways you could donate it to the stall. You could dig it up and put it in a pot to bring to a drop-off point. Alternatively, don’t dig it up in advance but make an offer to donate which we will use to create a voucher to sell for £5 on the stall. If someone would like your plant, they will buy the voucher and then contact you to arrange collection at a time suitable for you both, and for the plant. This means the plant won’t be dug up until it has a new home and is at a suitable growth stage, but you do need to be willing to provide your contact details to the buyer. Please drop off your completed form at the post office, the delivery box at the gate of The Old Rectory, Bugthorpe, or the porch of 4 Stephenwath Lane.
